演讲人 Najib KACEM简介:
FEMTO-ST Institute, Department of Applied Mechanics
Najib KACEM graduated in 2006 from Arts et Métiers ParisTech engineering school. After carrying out a final year research project within a Swiss institution for material sciences and technology development (EMPA), he joined the CEA in Grenoble to prepare for a Ph.D. devoted to the nonlinear dynamics of MEMS and NEMS sensors that he completed in March 2010. He subsequently undertook a post-doctoral research position at the University of Geneva. His work there mainly focused on lattice Boltzmann approach for multiscale modeling within the framework of the European project Mapper. He became Associate Professor at the University of Franche-Comté in 2011, and “chaire d’excellence” until 2016. He co-organized two mini-symposiums entitled “Nonlinear Dynamics in MEMS and NEMS” and “Model reduction methods dedicated to low/high frequency system dynamics” in the second and third International Conference on Structural Nonlinear Dynamics and Diagnosis(CSNDD 2014 and 2016). He is also co-organizer of the upcoming “Symposium on the Dynamics of MEMS and NEMS” at the 11th International Conference on Micro- and Nanosystems (a part of ASME’s 2017 Design Engineering Technical Conferences). His area of expertise and current research interests include MEMS/NEMS, Nolinear Dynamics, Energy Harvesting, and Smart Systems. He has co-authored 20 articles in international peer reviewed journals, 1 patent and 35international refereed proceeding papers.
